Hello Everyone,

On September 20th I attended the outstanding workshop on the new Michigan
Legal Help Website presented by Laura Mancini, attorney and librarian of
the Adams-Pratt Oakland County Law Library and attorney Kimberly
Koscielniak (former children’s librarian), State Law Library/Library of
Michigan. I was so excited about it that I asked her how we could get the
rest of the staff trained. She said she would be glad to come and give a
presentation at our library.

I discussed it with my Director, Mary Karshner and we decided to schedule
and date and open up the workshop to all interested TLN Librarians.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, December 10th from 10-12.   If you
would like to attend, please respond to me at maryann at ropl.org or Mary
Karshner, at mary at ropl.org. by Monday, December 8th at the lates. Light
refreshments will be served.

We are not open until 12 on Tuesday, however, someone will greet you at the
library entrance.  Also, parking is not free in Royal Oak, so please bring
quarters for the meters.  There is a lot right next to the library and also
at the Farmer's Market directly across the street.
