Something that your Board may want to be aware of is that conducting official business by email may subject the communications to the Freedom of Information Act. If email is used as a method of deliberating or making decisions on official business, it may be considered a method of evading the requirements of the Open Meetings Act because it is a form of 'round robin' action.
