The Friends of Michigan Libraries (FOML) would like to thank all those who
participated in our recent workshops at the Canton Public Library on April
3 for library Friends and on April 4 for library Trustees.
Looking ahead, FOML will be offering trustee-oriented sessions at the Rural
Libraries Conference on Mackinac Island on Thursday, May 1, and two general
sessions for all types of library staff on Friday, May 2. These sessions
will be conducted by Sarah Ann Long who was the presenter and trainer at
the Friday Canton Public Library workshop.
Following the Rural Libraries Conference two FOML workshops will be hosted
at the Kentwood Branch Library (Kent District Library) on Thursday,
September 11, for library Friends, and Friday, September 12, for library
Trustees. Registration information will be posted on the FOML website (
www.foml.org) at the end of summer 2014.
Best regards,
Paul Snyder, President
Friends of Michigan Libraries (FOML)
