[Michlib-l] FaceBook Help

Can someone help me with this--if there even is a solution?

The Library has a FaceBook page.  Everything we post on our "institutional"
page shows up on the timelines of anyone who has liked us.  I, acting as
the library, have "Liked" certain pages that I thought our public might be
interested in, i.e., OverDrive, NPR Books, etc.  My expectation was that
these posts would also go to people who have liked us.  This doesn't seem
to be the case.

Any ideas how we can make it so?  Or good reasons for NOT doing this?
