Dear friends,
After nearly ten years as your state librarian, I have decided that it is time for me to retire with my last day of work being April 30, 2014.
I do plan to continue to act upon the passion I have had for libraries throughout all of my life. I have enjoyed working with all of you and will miss our interaction. I wish you and your libraries all the best in the future.
I have the utmost confidence that you will continue to provide the great service I have seen throughout my tenure as state librarian.
