[Michlib-l] Quilt Show based on childrens books

Our Friends of the Library would like to have a quilt show competition
where people make a quilt based on a children's book. We were wondering
about copyright issues with this if they did illustrations out the book.
Does anyone have an opinion on that, or has anyone done that yet?  Please
send any forms that you have used for an event like this. Did you need to
ask permission from author/illustrator?
