[Michlib-l] "Blood and Iron"? book title

Here's the description:

The first in a planned series of six books chronicling the adventures of
Levi Rankin. Fresh from the wilds of Wyoming, young Marine Corporal Rankin
comes of age and is savagely tested in the Spanish American War/Battle of
Manila Bay while serving aboard the U.S.S. Olympia under then Commodore
Dewey, in the Philippine jungles, gunboat duty on the Yellow River, and the
finally during the brutal Siege of Peking during the Boxer Rebellion.

Future titles in the series include "By Honor Bound", "Thunder of the
Guns", "Hold Back the Dawn", "Devil Dogs", and, "For Those in Peril".
