*POSITION:* Part-Time, Academic Resource Center Assistant

*REPORTS TO:* Coordinator of Learning Resources

*MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:*

·        Associate degree or equivalent

·        Experience working with students in an education setting is
preferred

·         Excellent communication skills

*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*

·        Provide high quality, exceptional customer service

·        Carry out opening and closing procedures

·        Monitor and assist with computer questions

·        Staff front desks

·        Assist with the development, implementation and application of
policy, procedures and regulations

·        Maintain statistics

·        Monitor facilities and equipment and report needs appropriately

·        Oversee student employees

·        Other duties as assigned

*WORK SCHEDULE:* Up to 25 hours per week,       Evenings and weekends
primarily

*STARTING DATE:* September 1, 2014

*COMPENSATION:* Hourly rate based on education, experience, and existing
wage rates paid for similar positions Baker College.
