Traverse Area District Library rolled out a "commuting library" this
summer. We have taken it on the road a couple times to various community
events (farmer's markets, festivals, etc.). A local wireless operator
loaned us a few access points, so we provide free library internet and can
do checkouts / registrations wherever we setup. The public reception has
been very positive and we plan to continue the service next summer.
