If you would like to learn more about the GCFLearnFree.org website and the 21st skills tutorials and resources it provides join the Library of Michigan for a free webinar Wednesday, July 16 from 3:00-3:45pm EST.

This webinar is designed to acquaint library staff with the free online learning opportunities made available through GCFLearnFree.org. The 45 minute webinar takes participants on a virtual tour of GCFLearnFree.org, which includes digging into some of the topic areas covered via self-paced tutorials, as well as the online classes in Microsoft Office that provide online learners continuing education units (CEUs).

The webinar also includes information about free resources provided to libraries and shares examples of how GCFLearnFree.org has provided libraries around the country with free educational content.

About GCFLearnFree.org: For the past decade, the GCFLearnFree.org program has helped millions around the world learn the essential skills they need to live and work in the 21st century. From Microsoft Office and email to reading, math, and more, GCFLearnFree.org offers more than 90 tutorials, including more than 1,000 lessons, videos, and interactives, completely free.

The webinar will be presented by Jessica Meadows of GCFLearnFree.org.

Audio will be provided using Voice Over Internet Protocol, VoIP. Computer speakers or headphones are required for listening to the audio portion of the program. A telephone audio option is NOT provided for this webinar. Attendees will have a Text Chat option to type in comments and questions.

An archived version of the webinar will be made available via the Library of Michigan website.
