The conference was wonderful and I do hope that we will have it again in the future on Mackinaw Island. As with any situation, it is all in what you make it, good or bad. I choose to find the best and run with that and not the negative situations that were beyond all of our controls.

I totally agree with Corey.  It was a wonderful conference and I had a great time.  Thank you so much to all who worked hard to make it happen.  Shannon and the conference people as well as Shepler's who did all that they could to get us to the island and then back to the mainland safely.  It was an adventure and I have wonderful memories of my stay at the Grand!!

Hi everyone -  


Along those lines, I would like to send a big shout out to Shannon White, the committee volunteers and the Library of Michigan staff for planning a conference is really unusual circumstances.  Dealing with weather is always a concern for meetings - but I think that this one topped them all.   


It was a great conference and a great job all around.
