I second Ann Bissell's nomination of 'Sweetie-licious Pies'. That book has been enjoyed by everyone who has read it here at CTL. We love the recipes, photography and the family stories that go along with each.

Subject: [Michlib-l] Cooking Books

Hello Everyone,

We are working with a local cooking school to put together a book discussion group. The program will feature a discussion of a cooking book, followed by a cooking class and/or demonstration based on recipes in the book. I am curious as to whether anyone has ideas for good books to use for such a program. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,
