Hello,
How many times have you been asked --- to suggest a book for a young reader and not been exactly sure what’s popular or appropriate? For the next title in a series? What the current award winners are in children and teen titles (did you know there are over 40 awards covering books for readers ages zero through teens?!?)? Wouldn’t it be great if there was a resource that could help you find their next great read? MeL database<http://mel.org/Databases> NoveList K-8 Plus<http://web.a.ebscohost.com/novpk8/search/novbasic?sid=2c67c947-e509-476b-bdee-54b3591e1633%40sessionmgr4002&vid=0&hid=4112> is just that tool. Fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, manga, sports, read-a-likes, classics; they’re all there. Book Discussion Guides and Common Core Connections are available too. Find NoveList K-8 Plus<http://web.a.ebscohost.com/novpk8/search/novbasic?sid=2c67c947-e509-476b-bdee-54b3591e1633%40sessionmgr4002&vid=0&hid=4112> in the alphabetic list of MeL databases<http://mel.org/Databases>, in the Kids Gateway<http://kids.mel.org/> under Homework Helpers<http://kids.mel.org/HomeworkHelpers>, and in the Teens Gateway<http://teens.mel.org/> under Reading Zone.<http://teens.mel.org/MeLReadingZone> Michigan residents or Michigan library access only.
