Need high quality resources for early learning and literacy? The Library of Michigan in the Department of Education provides no cost access to World Book Early World of Learning and Scholastic BookFlix. The Library will be hosting webinars on how to use these great resources on April 28th (BookFlix) and May 20th (Early World of Learning). Scholastic BookFlix

See how BookFlix's integration of fiction and non-fiction texts in an easy to use resource can work for you. BookFlix is for grades PreK - 5. It is an interactive experience that allows beginning readers to explore fiction and non-fiction designed to increase understanding and fluency. Increase comprehension and have fun at the same time!

World Book Early World of Learning
Wednesday, May 20th, 11:30 am and repeating at 7 pm
Trainer, Mike Buchenauer from World Book, Inc.
Learn the highlights, ease of use, tips and tricks of Early World of Learning (EWOL). EWOL is for grades PreK - 5. Follow Trek and Taffy the cat around the world learning about colors, numbers and other fun things. Strengthen reading foundations with stories, activities and videos. Explore the Know It encyclopedia designed especially for early readers. Includes materials for educators.
