 MONEY SMART WEEK Activities at the HUDSON CARNEGIE DISTRICT LIBRARY
Monday - 12 noon  BROWN BAG LUNCH BUNCH  special guest speaker Sharon Durling, author of "A Girl and Her Money" will be will us, leading the discussion of Frugal Living and Spending - no matter what age you are!!  Bring your lunch and join us!!
Monday & Tuesday - 6:30 - 8 p.m.  Community Action Agency Financial Coach Julie Laughlin will be here presenting "Budgeting Basics & Credit Classes".  She will be speaking on Money Management Skills, Developing a Spending Plan, Setting Goals and Understanding Credit.
Wednesday evening at 6:30 SHARON DURLING will be presenting "BE BROKE BUT HAPPY : HOW TO HAVE A GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LITTLE BIT OF MONEY YOU DO HAVE, AS WELL AS THE PILES OF MONEY YOU DON'T (but wish you did!!)   Sharon Durling is "Broke Girl" and knows a thing or two about money, having opened her first bank account as a child at Thompson Savings Bank in Hudson Michigan and since worked her way to Wall Street.  Meanwhile, she has taught financial literacy from the basements of Chicago housing projects to ladies who lunch in Orange County, California. 
Thursday evening we will be at the middle school gym @ 6:30 p.m.  for our first  MUSIC IN THE PARK featuring JOHN FLYNN!!!
Saturday morning @ 11 a.m. GO GREEN!!! Money Smart games and activities for all ages at the library.
