workshop on using newspapers and news reports in your genealogy
research!

Newspapers have always been the diary of their community, and are a
not-to-be-missed resource when looking for details of your family
history. Discover what kind of events were reported in the society
columns, legal proceedings, school reports, and more! 

Learn how to find newspapers both online and in libraries, and how to
search the online databases most effectively, including a demonstration
of the Newsbank & GenealogyBank news service databases. 

This workshop is free and open to the public, but registration is
required so we know how many handouts to provide for attendees.
