Health concerns effect everyone in our community and beyond. Often a

issues. It is imperative public services staff be aware of the health
resources available, both to better serve the community and to demonstrate
to non-users the implicit need for libraries.
This free class draws on the collective knowledge of experts in the field,
Michigan librarians well versed in MeL databases health resources, not
just medical information, but resources of where else patrons can go to
explore their own health needs, alternatives, and government related
health information.
