[Michlib-l] Library meeting space

Up to now, we have restricted rentals of our library meeting room to
non-profit purposes (bridal showers, birthday parties, etc.). We are
considering opening it up to include business use that does not immediately
produce profit (training, board and committee meetings, depositions, public
workshops that charge no admission-also we are thinking of allowing
admission charges with an increased rental fee). We'd like to prohibit
someone from setting up a storefront in the library or from manufacturing
something (like a movie) in the library that would be sold at a later date.
Recording a deposition or meeting or designing a prototype would be okay in
this scenario.

If your meeting space policy allows anything beyond non-profit use, can you
send me your policy?

Thanks,

Bob Barringer
