*Position:* Rochester College invites applications for the position of
Director of Library Services.


*Responsibilities: *Serve as department chair for Library Services, oversee
daily operations, oversee assessment process, administer non-faculty
contracts and related issues, represent the college and library to the
external community, serve on the Academic Cabinet, and serve on the local
consortium board.


*Qualifications: *ALA accredited MLS, MLIS or MILS degree, people and
budgetary management skills,  knowledge of library and information
technology, ability to carry out administrative duties professionally,
collection development experience, and familiarity with library management
systems.


*Preferred Qualifications: *Additional graduate studies or degrees,
experience with Horizon ILS or equivalent, three or more years academic
library experience with progressive responsibilities, experience in library
administration or management/supervision, knowledge of copyright
compliance, grant writing experience, and bibliographic instruction and
information literacy experience.


*Salary: *Dependent on work experience and skills


*Anticipated Date of Employment: *August 1, 2015
