If you have patrons interested in children's books or art. The MAZZA Museum
in Findlay, Ohio has a fantastic summer conference with an amazing line-up
of artists who will be speaking during one week. July 13-17th.  There is
also a writing strand. The artists include:

Deborah Freedman
Charles Santore
David Hyde Costello
Rafael Lopez
Elisha Cooper
Jonathan Bean
Aaron Becker
Lou Fancher
Steve Johnson

FYI:  The Mazza Museum is the largest museum of original artwork by
children’s book illustrators in the world. The museum’s goal is to promote
literacy and enrich the lives of all people through the art of children’s
literature. And it's fairly close to those of us in SE Michigan.
