[Michlib-l] Processing Question

Ironing is good.

In addition, we often use clear book tape. We cut the tape long enough so
the tape wraps around the sides, a little past the hinges, so the tape
doesn't work loose with the cover opening and closing. We use Scotch brand
clear book tape.

Iron them. The labels will stick kind of like iron-on patches. You'll
probably want a piece of paper between the iron and the label.

Subject: [Michlib-l] Processing Question

Good afternoon everyone!

Does anyone out there in library land have a good solution for keeping spine
labels on hardcover cloth-bound titles? We have purchased some classics in
this beautiful style but they have proven difficult to process.

We have tried some various methods and they don't stick as well to these
books.

(See picture)

Thanks for any advice-

Andrea
