Participating in Earth Day activities in Lansing, I was reminded of the varied science resources available in MeL databases<http://mel.org/databases> for students of all ages.  World Book Kids<http://www.worldbookonline.com/kids/home?subacct=O6106> offers Science Project ideas for grades PreK-5. Research in Context<http://www.galesupport.com/migeoipcheck/migeoipcheck-gale.php?database=MSIC>'s science topics for grades 6-8, range from astronomy to weathering and erosion. Britannica School - High<http://www.galesupport.com/migeoipcheck/migeoipcheck-brit.php?database=BRHIGH> covers science in articles, images, videos, ebooks, and primary sources. Academic OneFile<http://www.galesupport.com/migeoipcheck/migeoipcheck-gale.php?database=AONE> includes peer-reviewed articles from leading world journals and reference sources in the physical sciences useful for college level students and professionals. Look to these MeL databases for up-to-date, reliable and accurate content for student scientists of all ages. Michigan residents or Michigan library access only.
