I just received the finalized agenda from DEPCO for the STEM trainings and the bulk of the afternoon will be informative & full of discussion of the very questions you ask.  There will also be hands-on demo of various other equipment in the afternoon, in addition to the MaKey Makey & littleBits training in the AM. Good evening -

The Novi Public Library recently received a grant and generous donation to create circulating STEM/STEAM kits.  Our kits will focus on children in grades K-6th.  We would like to know what items other libraries have included in their STEAM kits along with pros or cons for items.  We are also interested in hearing about circulation rules (how long is the checkout period, how many kits checked out per card, holds allowed on kits, overdue fines, damaged/missing pieces, etc.).  Any information that you can share would be greatly appreciated!
