[Michlib-l] MeL Minute - NoveList K-8 Plus

Hi all,

Have you discovered the new linkage in MeL Database NoveList K-8 Plus<http://galesupport.com/migeoipcheck/migeoipcheck-ebsco.php?database=NOVEL>?  The MeL team worked with the tech support staff at EBSCO to connect NoveList K-8 Plus titles to the actual eBook in MeL's eBook collections available from EBSCO, eBook Collection<http://galesupport.com/migeoipcheck/migeoipcheck-ebsco.php?database=EBOOK> and eBook K-8 Collection<http://galesupport.com/migeoipcheck/migeoipcheck-ebsco.php?database=EBK8>.  If there is an eBook available after you do a search in NoveList K-8 Plus, you will see 2 links in the record: "Check the MeLCat Catalog" (for the actual print book) and an additional link: "Access this eBook via EBSCOHost eBooks" for that title.  Click on that link and it will take you to the eBook corresponding to the NoveList K-8 Plus entry. We think you'll find this additional feature very useful.  NoveList K-8 Plus<http://galesupport.com/migeoipcheck/migeoipcheck-ebsco.php?database=NOVEL> is a great resource to use to create summer reading lists, classroom reading lists and individual patron reading lists!
