Do you have ideas on what librarians need in a statewide professional organization? Have you considered nominating yourself, but are a bit unsure? Now’s the time to overcome any self-doubt and step up. MI-ALA needs you!

As MI-ALA enters its third year, the need for librarians to help propel the group forward is paramount. The organizational foundation is set and now it is time to continue the building process. Open yourself up to all the possibilities for academic librarians committed to advancing the profession! The deadline for nominations is Monday, May 9.

Vice-President (3 yr term)
Treasurer (2 yr term)
Publicly Funded University Representative (2 yr term)
Committee chairs for : Membership, Conference Planning, Communications
Section Board chairs-elect for : Administration (AD), Collections (CL), User Experience (UX) (2 yr term)
Section Secretaries for: Administration (AD), Collections (CL), User Experience (UX) (1 yr term)
Section at-large member representative for: Administration (AD), Collections (CL), User Experience (UX) (1 yr term)
