National Runaway Safeline also has a free curriculum about alternatives to
running away.   "*Let’s Talk:Runaway Prevention Curriculum *is a free,

interactive, 14 module curriculum intended to educate young people about
alternatives to running away as well as to build life skills so that youth
can resolve problems without resorting to running away or unsafe behavior.

In addition NRS has "Kids Call" where their prevention specialist will lead
a group discussion.  It is  "a hands-on way for youth to learn more about
the issues that youth in crisis face and the solutions available to them-
straight from the NRS front line team of staff and volunteers. Kids Call
helps participants further grasp what runaway and homeless youth are going
through, as well as familiarize themselves with NRS’ services in case they,
or anyone they know, end up in crisis. We’ll answer questions such as: “How
long are runaways gone? What makes someone run away? What can I do instead
