A week shy of six months into the current cycle of MAP, below are some (great!) numbers I provided earlier today to our partners at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.

For the period May 23, 2016 to date:

Number of passes circulated: 6,296
Number of participating cultural destinations: 419
Number of participating libraries: 638
Number of hits to the MAP website: 324,970
Number of searches performed on the MAP website: 74,770
Number of likes for the MAP Facebook page: 3,694
Number of followers on the MAP Twitter Feed: 311

Finally, we had a goal that we discussed when all of us met at the mParks office in Lansing. You will recall that the goal was 1,000,000 hits to the MAP website. I am happy to report that the total number of hits to the MAP website for the period May 24, 2015 through today now stands at 1,007,001! Isn't that great? Thank you so much for your support!

One other thing: MAP is turning 10 in 2017. Let's start a discussion as to how we can celebrate the 10th birthday of this great program.
