REGISTRATION IS CLOSING!
Today is your last chance to register for the "RDA for non-catalogers: What do I need to know?"<http://mcls.org/training-events/training-events-list/training-event/?ref_cID=198&bID=0&dd_asId=7928> workshop next week!
Has it felt like your catalogers have been speaking a new language lately, using terms like RDA and FRBR? RDA (Resources, Description, and Access) is now the cataloging standard, implemented in 2013 to replace AACR2. FRBR is part of the infrastructure of this new code. What does this mean to the non-cataloger? What kind of changes should library staff and the end user expect to see as a result of RDA? What are some of the major changes between AACR2 and RDA?
Wednesday, April 26, 10:00am - 12:00noon Eastern, online webinar workshop. Register today<http://mcls.org/training-events/training-events-list/training-event/?ref_cID=198&bID=0&dd_asId=7928>, before you miss your chance!
