[Michlib-l] Logo Design Contest - Deadline Sept. 1! Only 3 days left!

Are you a member of the Michigan library community that loves to create? If so, consider designing a logo to submit for the 2018 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference Logo contest. The winning member of the Michigan library community will receive a complimentary registration to the conference and have their design included in the printed program. There is no limit as to how many logos you can submit.

The 2018 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference is scheduled for April 30-May2, 2018 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan. The theme for the 2018 RLC (following the current library topic of diversity and inclusion) is "Open Doors, Open Minds."

Please submit your artwork by September 1, 2017 in electronic format, to atkine at michigan.gov<mailto:atkine at michigan.gov>  The winner will be announced along with the conference programs in January 2018.

When submitting your artwork, please remember:

1.       Include your name, library and contact information

2.       Use the full name of the event in your design - Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference and the conference theme: Open Doors, Open Minds.

3.       Submit your entry by September 1, 2017

4.       A specific file format is not necessary for your submission, though please make sure your logo is a minimum of 500 pixels at its narrowest point.

5.       We will email you that we have received your submission. If you don't receive an email acknowledging the submission, please contact us.
