"Detroit in Crisis: The '67 Rebellion" will take place on Wednesday, July
12, at 7 p.m.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Detroit Rebellion, a
five-day period of unrest that began with the raid of an after-hours club in
a primarily African-American neighborhood. This program will examine the
root causes of what is still considered to be one of the most disparaging
uprisings in our country's history.

Walk-ins are welcome.
