In the past, we collaborated with the local chapter of the ACLU for a banned Books Read Out. We enlisted local celebrities to read passages from books. One time, we asked a representative from the ALA OIF to speak as well.

Subject: [Michlib-l] Literature/Banned Book speaker
Just curious if anyone has ever had a presenter give a talk on banning literature, historically through present day. I am thinking a qualified university professor or high school English teacher might be a place to start but looking for the hive mind input.
Thanks!
