Thursday, November 9, 2017, 2:00-3:00 pm EST

[burst]Human Trafficking is a growing industry; second only to drugs. Recent studies have found that libraries are the number one recruitment location. Anyone can become a victim. Anyone can stop it.

Discretionary Warning: This webinar will cover difficult topics, including: child abuse, sexual violence, and slavery.

Participants will:

  * Discover the modern problem of human trafficking and its statistics
  * Learn to recognize the signs and identify potential victims
  *   Hear how to respond

[Sanderbeck]Presenter: Crystal Feyerchak is the Special Projects Librarian at Twinsburg Public Library, nestled in Ohio. She has programming and training experience on a wide-range of technology and social topics. She calls herself the “kitchen sink” librarian, as she works in an ever changing and evolving role. She also owns two awesome rescue pups.
