[Michlib-l] HR Workshop with Brian Mortimore

If you were on the fence, it's not too late!  There's still a few spaces
and registration is still open!

Join us on *Thursday, November 2, 2017* from *8:30am to 4:00pm* (that's
this week!) at the Albion District Library, as Brian Mortimore, SPHR,
(“That HR-guy at KDL”) will lead an interactive workshop with three topics
of focus:

   1. Employee Handbook Rules and Policies that every library should
   consider.
   2. Library Staffing Best Practices that library leaders can adopt.
   3. A Leaders Work Session on managing performance, and when performance
   consistently lags, administering Progressive Discipline.

*Day’s Agenda:*

8:30am to 9:00am – coffee & registration
9:00am to 12:30pm – program & breaks
12:30pm to 1:00pm – lunch
1:00pm to 4:00pm – program & breaks
