LLAMA webinar helps leaders move beyond problem fixing
A common complaint among library managers and leaders is that they spend so much time reacting to crises and fixing problems that there’s not enough time left to lead change at their organizations. While there’s no single solution to this, there is an approach that can help. The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA) will present “Leading Change with Powerful Conversations Using Appreciative Inquiry,” at 1:30 - 3 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, Aug. 22.
This webinar will explore the power of appreciative inquiry, a strengths-based approach to creating organizational evolution by developing conversations where all feel heard with respect and empathy. By posing powerful questions that ask what can be, leaders can help their organization become more energized and innovative.
