 Hi Gail, I am so sorry to hear that.  I remember visiting Mike in the early 90's when the Library was in a small building and the future TADL was just a dream.

 Good morning,
I wanted to share with you all the sad news that TADL's former director, Mike McGuire, passed away yesterday morning after a long illness. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, but he is being served by Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City.
Mike worked at TADL for about 35 years and was director for most of that time, retiring in 2009. He continued to volunteer here sorting donations until a couple years ago. He was also past president of MLA.
