Whole Person Librarianship
Libraries and Social Workers in Collaboration Workshop
Friday, July 13, 2018 9:00am - 4:00pm at Niles District Library

We will explore systems theory, cultural humility, and reflective
supervision as they apply to library practice. Presenter, Sara Zettervall,
was a 2014 ALA Emerging Leader and is on the forefront of research into
collaborative service. She will provide context, and participants will
have ample time to apply these concepts to examples from their own
libraries and engage in guided small- and large-group conversations.
Participants will come away from the session with new approaches to public
service, guided by proven social work methods.

Lunch will be served.

This training is open to anyone working in a public library in Michigan!
Please e-mail me if you are interested in attending.
