Hi!

Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine Library is excited to be recruiting for an Informationist/Medical Librarian. As a newer medical school and, consequently, an all-digital medical library, we are part of many innovative research projects, co-author scholarship, and instructors in the medical education, informatics, and biomedical sciences programs. The library's operation is small, yet mighty, and we have daily access to senior leadership, faculty, residents and staff, and a front-row view of how a medical school works. Our medical student approval rating on the Independent Student Survey is 100%, and we're known for being the most helpful and nicest faculty in the medical school. We are leaders, educators, advocates, and researchers in our school and community. We are a team of informationists, librarians and a computer scientist that supports each other’s dreams, ideas, experiments, and professional successes. We believe in each other, and our department offers a nurturing environment where anything is possible if you can build it. Informatics, informationists, biomedical scientists, librarians, or those wanting a new adventure are encouraged to apply.
