Many of you may remember Mike Ranville, a former-lobbyist with Karoub 
Associates, who represented the Michigan Library Association and library 
interests in Lansing for a number of years.  Mike can now add 
"heart-transplant recipient" to his credentials and has written a book 
entitled /_Life to the Years_/ about his experience. **
Mike writes insightfully from both the patient and family perspective 
and recounts the journey - frustrations and successes – to resumption of 
a productive career and robust personal life.His dogged determination to 
resume an active and productive life will be of keen interest to all 
cardiac patients and their families.
