The Henry Ford - Benson Ford Research Center has lots of cookbooks in their collection. I am copying their specialist on this email. There are various Betty Crocker ones but not sure which might be what you want:

Subject: [Michlib-l] Vintage cookbook questions

Occasionally we have a patron in need of a vintage Betty Crocker or Better Homes and Gardens cookbook for a recipe "that mom used to make." Recently, we had someone request a recipe for "Old fashioned Italian wedding soup" from the checked cookbook- 1960's.

Does anyone know of an old recipe database? Or- does anyone have the red and white checked cookbook from teh 1960's on their shelves and can see if the recipe is there? While this conversation was happening, another patron said she has been looking for a baked apple recipe that used pudding that was supposedly in the same cookbook.

Thanks!
