[Michlib-l] Community Engagement Summit registration now open to all MI library staff

MCLS, in partnership with the Library of Michigan, is pleased to announce a Community Engagement Summit to be held in September 2018. Richard C. Harwood, President and Founder of The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation<https://theharwoodinstitute.org/>, will be the keynote presenter. The day will include other national leaders in community engagement, as well as a panel of Michigan libraries who are making great strides in engaging their own communities.
Registration is now open to any Michigan library staff interested in community engagement. This registration will be $50/person. Registration is free to those MI library staff individuals who have completed a Harwood Public Innovators Lab.

Cost:
Free to MI library staff individuals who have been participants in the Spring 2016, Fall 2016, or Fall 2017 MCLS/Library of Michigan Harwood Public Innovators Cohorts or who have attended a Harwood Institute Public Innovators Lab.
$50 for MI library staff who have NOT participated in a Cohort or Lab
All registrations includes continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack break.
This event is highly subsidized by the Library of Michigan, and is valued at over $150/person.
