Author David Baldacci Visits the Detroit Public Library

The Detroit Public Library is very excited to welcome author David Baldacci. The New York Times bestseller is making Detroit his only Michigan stop on the fall tour for his new novel, Long Road to Mercy.

On Sunday, November 18, 2018, Mr. Baldacci will be at the Main Library at 5201 Woodward to discuss his latest novel and sign copies. Literati Bookstore will be on hand to sell books. The event starts at 1:30 p.m. in Old Fine Arts.

Mr. Baldacci has published 36 adult novels which have topped both national and international bestseller lists. His first book published in 1996, Absolute Power, became a hit movie directed and starring Clint Eastwood. Since that time, Mr. Baldacci’s books have been published in over 80 countries and in more than 45 languages, with over 130 million in worldwide sales. "The library is very happy to be able to host Mr. Baldacci. His books are hugely popular with our patrons and they are very excited he is coming to Detroit" said Christine Peele, librarian and co-chair of the author series committee.
