Greetings!

Are you looking for a way to fund a conference, workshop, online course or other continuing education? The Library of Michigan strives to support libraries' efforts to provide quality service and programming to their communities. A major element of excellent service is empowering library staff to learn and implement new skills and best practices. The Librarian Continuing Education program helps by providing financial support for library staff continuing education. Preference will be given to applicants that meet on or more of the following:

  *   Staff who work at a library that has not received a stipend previously
  *   First-time applicants
  *   Staff who are attending a particular event for the first time

Michigan public, academic and school library staff are eligible to apply for continuing education stipends. The program details and criteria can be found at https://www.michigan.gov/libraryofmichigan/0,2351,7-160-18668_63014-359559--,00.html.  Please note: the deadline to apply for a stipend is June 30.
