The University of Michigan School of Information and the Library of
Michigan are delighted to announce the first in a monthly series of
Cutting-Edge Librarianship webinars for libraries and librarians.

Our first webinar, on Tuesday, September 17, at 4pm, is Teaching STEM with
Indigenous Algorithms. Ron Eglash travels the word to look for the
scientific patterns used by traditional craftspeople, then translates them
into coding projects.

Webinars are *free *for Michigan libraries and librarians, UMSI/U-M
students and alumni, and Wayne State SIS students/alumni. Site registration
is $50 if you are unaffiliated with those organizations.

Webinars will be archived, and the link will be sent to all registrants
within 48 hours.

For more information (or to see additional webinar listings), please visit

This project is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and
Library Services.

Please let me know if you have any questions -- hope to see you online!
