A webinar with Clinton-Macomb Public Library's Amy Young and Brittany Wesner
Wednesday, January 15, 2020
2:00 PM ET
We will discuss how Clinton-Macomb Public Library went from little school outreach to developing a streamlined plan that allows us to see over 20,000 students a year. Specifically, we will focus on how developing curriculum-based, grade specific programs helped us to appeal to teachers and administrators while still attracting students to participate. These strategies can be adapted to serve communities of any size. Additionally, we will talk about the differences between curriculum-based school outreach and relationship-based school outreach as well as how to meet the need of schools from varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
This webinar is recorded for participants that cannot attend live.

Collaborative Summer Library Program
In case you missed it, CSLP has released a statement regarding the 2020 Poster Art<https://www.cslpreads.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2020-artwork-statement.pdf> and a few other pieces. Thank you for your patience as the organization works through these issues of concern. Please know that if your order was placed before November 19th, it will still be fulfilled as requested. It is up to your library if you display any of the art that is a concern. If you would like a store credit for the items of concern you don't use, please contact CSLP and destroy the art (do not return it). I am working to offer alternatives to Michigan Libraries, but have limited resources and not sure how much I will be able to do. Will keep you posted! Meanwhile, all online manual materials have been updated and if you've not gone online to download<http://www.cslpreads.org/>, please do so! The new manuals are a fabulous resource for "Imagine Your Story!"

Have a great weekend,
