Coloma Public Library

 

Position: Assistant Director, 40 hours per week, including some evening and
weekend hours

 

The Coloma Public Library is a district library located in a beautiful
facility in Coloma, Michigan and serves 12,982 residents of the City of
Coloma, Coloma Township, Hagar Township and Bainbridge Township communities.

Under the supervision of the Library Director, in addition to performing
standard library duties (i.e. circulation, shelving, helping patrons, etc.)
the Assistant Director represents the library in the community, plans
services and programs, administers library policies, supervises staff and
manages all human resources responsibilities, participates in preparing the
annual Library budget, monthly and annual reports and the annual audit.

 

Salary: 35,000-45,000 depending on experience

 

Minimum Education: Master's degree or its equivalent from a library school
accredited by the American Library Association.

 

Will consider new graduates. 1-3 years library experience strongly
preferred.
