The Akira books (6 in total) are seminal classics that should have a long shelf life. The film Akira? has remained one of the top anime movies of all time and something most manga nerds (I am one, so it's okay) view as a right of passage.

Dear Librarians,

We are developing our graphic novel section of the library for junior and young adult books. I would appreciate a suggestion of your most popular series. We have Pokemon, Bone and a few others. We don't have a lot in the budget so I have to spend wisely. Your suggestions are most appreciated.

Regards,
