[Michlib-l] Responses-Panic Button Software

Not many responses but here are the few I received.

* Our security company offers panic buttons as an additional service. We have two behind the desk and one in a back room. Staff knows the parameters for using them and luckily we have never had that opportunity. I do believe the mere fact that we have them has made people feel a bit more comfortable when dealing with unruly patrons.

* We have HONEYWELL 269R 
DURESS BUTTON DPDT 269R

They were implement by a local security company who won the bid for this.

* Even though we are not a part of the city of Grand Haven, the GH Dept of Public Safety gives all of our employees access to Rave Panic Button. It's only usable while in the vicinity of the library but is still a cool service for those 'just tin case" situations.
