[Michlib-l] Michigan Author Recommendations

Hello Everyone.

    The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library is in need of a suggestion.
We are co-sponsoring a writer's / Author's workshop in July and need recommendations for our key-note speaker. We are looking for an author whose name would be recognizable for most people. They either need to be born in Michigan or living here currently.
Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
