[Michlib-l] Digitizing City Directories

Hello all,

For those of you who have digitized local city directories in your
collections, would you be willing to share experiences, suggestions,
advice, or any other thoughts?  The majority of our directories were
published by either Luedders' or Johnson Publishing Company (with a
smattering of other publishers, especially early on).  They cover the time
period from the late 1860s to the mid-1970s.
