[Michlib-l] SEMLOL Spring Meeting 2020 Call for Proposals

Good afternoon,

The Southeastern Michigan League of Libraries
<http://www.semlol.org/index.php>, SEMLOL, is preparing a program for
the Spring
membership meeting titled Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

We welcome interactive workshops, presentations, lightning talks, and
poster proposals sharing your experiences with a variety of diversity,
equity, and inclusion initiatives. Examples include but are not limited to:
diversity and inclusion efforts at your library,
events/programming/workshops pertaining to diversity and inclusion,
promoting diversity and inclusion in librarianship, etc. Best practices,
interactive activities, and creative ideas are all welcome. Presentations
may be anywhere from 10 - 40 minutes long with time for questions.

The Spring SEMLOL meeting will take place on Friday, March 27, 2020 from
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Madonna University’s Franciscan Center.

To submit a proposal, please send a title, name of speaker(s), and an
abstract of no more than 250 words to semlol.board at gmail.com by Friday,
February 21, 2020. Accepted proposals will be notified by Friday, March
6th, 2020.

LIS students are encouraged to submit proposals based on their coursework,
jobs or internships.
